Founder of More Love Letters, Hannah Brencher, was living in New York City

after graduating from college and found herself grappling with loneliness

and depression. As an effort to keep her mind off the sadness, she began

leaving love letters across New York City— libraries, coffee shops,

everywhere. Her letter-leaving spiraled into a year of writing letters to

strangers all over the world. After writing 400 letters, More Love Letters

was born.

Hannah thought the website she built would fade out within a few weeks.

But it

gained momentum and is still going strong five years later.

We believe in the power of connection. We believe in innovation through

social media and using the online community to band together and rally

together and show up for one another. We are not about love letters so much

as we are about what love letters stand for in this digital age: intention

and presence. We want to see more of that. We want to see more people

showing up for other people. That is the heart behind everything we do.
