With everything going on in our world today, it is so important to be kind to one another. You truly never know what the person next to you is going through. As the old saying goes, treat others the way you want to be treated. Here is a list of 20 random acts of kindness that are easy for anyone to do!

Give someone a compliment.
Bring in a treat for the whole office or class.
Pay for someone’s meal or coffee.
Hold the door or elevator open.
Give someone flowers for no reason.
Write a nice comment on someone’s social media post.
Send a nice text to someone when you wake up or before you go to bed.
Pick up trash around your neighborhood.
Let someone borrow your umbrella in the rain.
Buy lemonade from a child’s lemonade stand.
Do the dishes or take out the trash, even it isn’t your turn in the household rotation.
Write a letter to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while.
Let someone go in front of you in line at the grocery store if they only have a few items.
Bring grocery carts from the parking lot back up to the store.
Greet everyone you see on the way to work or school with a smile and a friendly “hello.”
Run a 5k that benefits a charity or a good cause.
Babysit or pet sit for free.
Take time to be a good listening ear for someone.
Leave a nice tip at a restaurant.
Take time to acknowledge something you’re doing well. You deserve to be kind to yourself too!
