Step Up While Shopping

October 25, 2017

I love to shop… and when I get something that’s adorable AND helps the world around me? Even better! While I did know of several companies that give a portion of their proceeds to charity, I had no idea that there were so many until I did my research.

Sevenly donates 7% of the money from the products you buy to several different charities. It offers all kinds of handmade items that are ethically made and socially conscious.

The Giving Bracelets

10% of the proceeds are given to CASA for children. TGB has an abundance of cute and special bracelets for you to choose from, and they do custom orders that might be named after you!

Ivory Ella

Okay, these shirts are seriously awesome! They give 10% of their net profits toward saving the elephants. Not only do they have shirts, but they sell water bottles, accessories, jackets, intimates, and bottoms.

Twice As Warm

Since we are heading into the colder months, this company is the place to go! Their mission is that when you buy a hat, a pair of gloves, or a scarf, they give a warm item to someone in need. BONUS: their products are made in the USA.

I’m slightly obsessed with them. Serengetees started with two college kids collecting fabric from all over the world. They started making pocket tees in their dorm room; now they sell shirts, headwear, accessories, bags, and home goods. Not only do they support the people who make the fabrics (by buying them by the truckload), they also donate 10% of their proceeds to other causes.

Out of Print

I’m a giant bookworm, so I’m pretty much lusting over everything from this business. A portion of their proceeds go to literacy programs and book donations to communities in need. They sell t-shirts, accessories, home and office supplies, and even baby clothes!

Best Friends

Who else here is a total animal lover?! Sometimes, I can’t stand to go to shelters because I just want to adopt all the animals there. Best Friends Animal Society strives to provide animals with a safe, loving, and forever home. Each purchase helps them fund their campaign.

Amazon Smiles

What I love about Amazon Smiles is that you can pick the charity you would like to donate to within your regular Amazon purchase (come on, you know you’re always shopping there).
